Technology has been my guiding companion throughout my life's journey. My first introduction to programming took place when I was just thirteen years old, stumbling upon QBASIC. To be honest, it didn't immediately grab my attention. Around the same time, I was diving headfirst into the vast world of the Internet, and that's when I discovered the intriguing realm of HTML. Armed with this newfound knowledge, I began crafting simple web pages with text and images, serving various straightforward purposes. As time went on, I decided to explore Classic ASP, even though it didn't win me over right away. Little did I know, this exploration would eventually lead me to secure my very first professional opportunity in 2002.

A turning point in my journey arrived in 2007 when I embraced the role of a Business Intelligence Consultant. This chapter in my life was a treasure trove of valuable lessons, with the most significant lesson being my immersion in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL. I had the privilege of being part of an amazing team that embarked on thrilling projects in the field of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics. And the icing on the cake? Our work extended to one of the world's largest financial institutions.

In 2009, life came full circle as I returned to the company where I had previously worked in 2002. Thanks to my prior SQL experience, I wasn't just brought in as a Classic ASP programmer; I also had the opportunity to dive into Oracle PL/SQL. My days were largely spent developing database applications and meticulously fine-tuning scripts to optimize speed and resource usage. My goal was straightforward: deliver the most accurate results in the shortest time possible.

Then, in 2013, a year of change unfolded. I bid farewell to my previous role and embarked on a new adventure in Melbourne, Australia. It took me a year of dedicated English language studies to prepare for working in an office environment.

In 2014, I joined a fantastic tourism company and proudly took on the role of a Senior SQL Developer. Over time, my journey led me into the realm of Business Intelligence, building on my previous experience.

In 2021, due to the global COVID circumstances, I made a decision to transition into an entirely new industry for me. Currently, I find myself working for a fantastic education-focused company, surrounded by amazing colleagues and a vibrant culture. I'm in the process of learning new concepts and taking great joy in contributing to the world of education.

Looking ahead, my aspirations involve enriching my career further by obtaining certifications in Azure and progressing towards a leadership role in Data Engineering.
